Answer 6 quick questions
No file export or admin access needed. Answerable from memory or a quick glance at your board.
Which columns should I include?
Export recent work items, ideally from the last 2–3 completed delivery cycles. Include as many of these signals as your tool provides; missing signals are shown as “not assessable,” not treated as poor performance.
Jira
Filters → Search work items → add Status, Created, Resolved, Story Points, Priority → Export CSV (current fields).
Azure DevOps
Boards → Queries → add State, Created Date, Closed Date, Story Points/Effort, Priority → Export to CSV.
Linear
Open an issue or project view → command menu → Export issues as CSV. Its standard Status, Created, Completed, Estimate, Priority fields are recognized.
ClickUp
List/Table view → Customize → Export → CSV → All columns. Include Status, Date created, Time Estimated, Priority.
GitLab
Plan → Work items → filter to Issues → Actions → Export as CSV. State, Created At, Closed At, Weight/Time Estimate are recognized; priority may be unavailable.
Trello
Board menu → Print, export and share → Export CSV (Premium). Use custom fields for Priority and Estimate; the card List is treated as status.
GitHub Projects
Open a project view → View menu → Export view data. Upload the downloaded .tsv directly; no conversion is needed. Visible custom fields such as Status, Priority, Estimate are recognized.
Asana / monday.com
Export the project or board, then include or name custom fields Status, Priority, Estimate, Created, Completed. monday.com exports Excel, which must be saved as CSV first.
Dates and field names vary by workspace configuration. The diagnostic recognizes common aliases and scores whatever the export can support; use the guided quiz for missing dimensions.
